Roles & Responsibilities
The Director shall be primarily responsible for personnel management, curriculum and instruction, school management, research and evaluation, federal programs, and administrative services of the Ministry. The Director shall also be responsible for providing the public school system with services that will help increase the capacity of elementary and secondary schools to meet the educational needs of children throughout the Republic. These responsibilities will be carried out through close collaboration with the various Chiefs which entails continued program planning and research for effective methods and strategies for improving school curricula and instruction, development of programs that will support school improvement and personnel related matters including staff development and certification, as well as continued efforts to seek federal funding assistance to enhance educational programs.
